Kasia joined the staff of First Southern Baptist in September 2020, where she serves as our Student Ministry Director. She was saved at the age of 15 and felt called to ministry at the age of 16. This is what led her to attend Cincinnati Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kasia met her husband, Nathan, in 1998 at Marengo Cave in Indiana where they were both tour guides. They married on September 20, 2002. Together, they have three children: Payton, Ella (Recently married to Isaac Hoke), and teenager Grace. God recently moved them to a beautiful piece of land in Camden. They are thankful to be able to put down roots and serve God by helping students grow in and live out their faith. “Without being a part of a strong Student Ministry as a teen, I believe my life would have turned out much differently. There is great value in teaching young people to be the church, to serve Christ in all they do, and rest in the fact that their identity is found in the One who made them so beautifully and uniquely. I couldn’t be more honored to serve First’s teens and their families.”
